Larry Neuman Mesel Wieder Mensch Award

MossSocietyJewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati Create Your Jewish Legacy Committee Chair, Larry Neuman, was honored with The Mesel Wieder Mensch Award at the Sustainers Event held on May 26th at the Phoenix.

Larry devotes countless hours, not only to JCGC, but to many other Jewish and civic endeavors. He doesn’t expect recognition. He serves because he believes in the importance of the cause and because he cares. As Chair of JCGC’s CYJL Committee, Larry has directed the overall effort, planning Legacy events for our Legacy Society, calling on our donors to thank them and coming up with gift ideas for our donors. He truly believes in stewardship.

The purpose of The Mesel Wieder Mensch Award is to recognize a member of the Cincinnati Jewish Community who personifies the meaning of the Yiddish word, “mensch”. This person is someone who quietly performs their acts of tzedakah and deeply affects the lives of individuals in ways, which are often overlooked. They will always be there quietly performing acts of tikkun olam, repairing and making the world a better place.

Larry is certainly a deserving recipient of the award. Mazel Tov, Larry!
