Jewish Congregations Consider Coordinating Management of Cemeteries
On June 8th, David Hoguet and David Harris met with representatives of the Columbus Jewish community’s cemeteries interested in using JCGC as a model for their own community cemetery needs. JCGC’s has been a great success, which meets a vital community need and ensures sustainability for all of the Jewish cemeteries that merged to form JCGC. Regularly, cemeteries and community leaders from across the USA consult with JCGC on how they can create a similar agency to care for their cemeteries.
